He also serves as National Coordinator of the France Genomic Medicine Plan 2025 (PFMG2025) for rare adult kidney diseases. He is Co-Coordinator of the National Reference Center for Thrombotic Microangiopathies (CNR-MAT). Professor Mesnard\u2019s team, based in Paris, uses short-read whole-exome and whole-genome sequencing for the clinical diagnosis of adult chronic kidney diseases. The team also develops applications of long-read sequencing technologies to accelerate the clinical diagnosis of rare kidney diseases at the time of intensive care unit admission.
